(RALEIGH) -- Specialty Textiles, Inc will increase production capacity for residential upholstery fabrics at a facility in Kings Mountain. The company expects to create 62 full time jobs and invest $4.9 million over the next three years.
Gov. STI will add to their current workforce of 170 in Kings Mountain. Salaries for the additional 62 positions will vary by job function with an average annual payroll of $1.4 million.
“STI is a big proponent of manufacturing in the United States. With support from the State of North Carolina, Cleveland County and the City of Kings Mountain, STI plans to grow our manufacturing footprint in North Carolina,” said John Kay, President of STI.
