(GARNER) -- ConAgra Foods has given the town of Garner, N.C. $2.5 million dollars as start-up funds for a future community center. The food-maker that once ran a Slim Jim facility in the Triangle-area town also donated the plant, surrounding land and a half-million dollars to nonprofit group, Garner Economic Development Corp.
