(RALEIGH) -- Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.40 per share on the Corporation’s common stock. The dividend represents a cash dividend of $1.60 per share on an annualized basis.

The dividend is payable June 29, 2012, to shareholders of record at the close of business on June 1, 2012. Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is the nation’s second largest producer of construction aggregates and a producer of magnesia-based chemicals and dolomitic lime.
