(RALEIGH) -- North Carolina's political parties may have different ideals, but when it comes to ballot access, they're joining together under one banner. Jordan Greene founded the political action committee "Free The Vote North Carolina."
Jordan said the organization has two main purposes. "Equal access to the election ballot to all political parties and unaffiliated candidates and end voter discrimination based on political affiliation, an act North Carolina has been guilty of in varying degrees for over a century at this point," said Jordan.
Among those taking part in the coalition are the Libertarian, Green and Constitution parties. Political organizations like Democracy North carolina and the John Locke Foundation are also involved in the initiative.
