(RALEIGH) -- North Carolina House Republicans successfully revived a bill that would challenge federal health care reform.
Lawmakers used a provision in the chamber rules that allows them to reconsider the failed attempt to override Governor Perdue's veto. Earlier this week, GOP supporters fell four votes shy of the threshold needed to trump Perdue's veto.
House Speaker Thom Tillis says the decision to reconsider any veto could come up at any time throughout the two-year legislative session.
Democratic House Minority Leader Representative Joe Hackney says Republicans should move on to other, more pressing issues, like job creations and the economy.
