(WASHINGTON, D.C.) -- Members of North Carolina's Congressional delegation reacted to the killing of Osama bin Laden. All agree that American must remain vigilant.
Congressman Brad Miller said the country has a reason to celebrate the death of bin Laden. He said it brings the country together like the tragedy that bin Laden perpetrated on the United States nearly 10 years ago. "The nation was more united a decade ago in the aftermath of 9-11 than I have ever seen us and I think the nation is united today in our sense that justice has been done," said Miller.
Congresswoman Virginia Foxx said she must give credit where credit is due. "The first thing that we do is thank our special forces and the Navy Seals. We have the finest military and these folks are all willing to sacrifice their lives to maintain freedom in this country," said Foxx.
Congressman Howard Coble said he is concerned about Pakistan. "It appear that he (bin Laden) spent a lot of time in Pakistan and we have befriended Pakistan in many ways and sometimes I regard Pakistan as a reluctant ally or a reluctant friend to us," said Coble.
