(GREENSBORO) -- Greensboro's Moses Cone Health System is changing its name to Cone Health. The hospital system says that the new name reflects the system's wide network of services and positions the system for continued growth.

CEO Tim Rice says they've been thinking about making a name change for several months. "So that if you see a physician office out in the community that's tied in with us, you have that reassurance that it's tied in with a large network of physicians and other providers working together on quality and access and all things that we're working on," he said.

Rice says that they also have a new logo and tag line: "Cone Health - The Network For Exceptional Care."
