(RALEIGH) -- The U.S. House Committee on Financial Services has several hearings scheduled this week. North Carolina Congressman Brad Miller serves on that committee and said people are still angry about the financial crisis from several years ago.
"The consequences of the financial crisis have fallen on the people who are wholly innocent and the people who really did cause it seem to have gotten off scott free, so I Americans are angry about that. They have a hard time understanding who's playing what role," said Miller.
Miller has sponsored the Foreclosure Fraud and Homeowner Abuse Prevention Act of 2011 to address concerns about mortgage backed securities.
