(WASHINGTON, D.C.) -- President Barack Obama and congressional leaders will try again Tuesday to strike some kind of deal on raising the debt limit. North Carolina Republican Rep. Virginia Foxx said the public understands the issue and what's at stake.

"They listen to the President saying one thing and wondering what in the world he sound like, a fiscal hawk almost, then he wants to do something totally different. That's why it's so difficult to listen to him. He's such a hypocrite," said Foxx.

President Obama said the meetings with Republican and Democratic leader will be held daily until an agreement is reached.
