(GREENSBORO) -- Authorities in Guilford County say domestic dispute led a woman to shot her boyfriend in a parking lot near Greensboro, then shot five more people before killing herself.  Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes said 36-year-old Mary Ann Holder was apparently angry over an affair that had ended.

Barnes said Holder shot and killed herself but not before also killing her son, 17-year-old Dylan Smith.  She also shot and wounded her boyfriend, 40-year-old Randal Scott Lamb.  He is listed in stable condition. Hannah Suttles, 8, Zackary Lee Smith, 14, Makayla Woods, 15, and Richard Suttles, 17, are all in critical condition at a hospital.

"It appears that an affair had been involved, and there were court actions for alienation of affection," said Sheriff Barnes. "There was an extreme, estranged relationship, to say the least. We have found notes, which at this time appear to be from Mary Ann Holder, and these notes basically take responsibility and apologize for the actions that were taken."

It was not clear where the notes were found. There are currently no other suspects.
