A Silver Alert issued for a Raleigh man. James Michael Vital Byrd, Jr., 25 of Raleigh was last seen walking away from 7005 Brecken Ridge Avenue in Raleigh.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and tennis shoes with black and white stripes. He is described as 5-foot-8 and weighs 277 pounds and has short brown hair. Byrd is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
