(REIDSVILLE) -- Officials with the Rockingham County Sheriff's Department are saying they have the utmost confidence there will be an arrest forthcoming in the murders of Troy and LaDonna French. The husband and whife were fatally shot in their home in the Bethany community near Reidsville early last Saturday morning. The couple's 19-year-old daughter, who was home from college, was injured in the attack, but survived. Department spokesman Kevin Suthard said this case is priority number one. "I have the utmost confidence in our investigative team here at the Sheriff's office along with the State Bureau of Investigation and others who are helping us out, that they will bring whoever is responsible for this heinous crime to justice," he said.

Suthard says this case is too important to risk any mistakes by rushing the investigation.
