(RALEIGH) -- It's a weekend full of fun, food and entertainment. The third annual Got to Be NC Festival got underway Friday at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.
State Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler says it's also a chance for people to learn about what is grown and made in the state.
"We have to educate North Carolinians about agriculture and great food that our farmers and food businesses produce, and this includes not only foods, but wines will be showcased at the food and wine expo," he said.
Festival hours for Saturday and Sunday are 9am to midnight and 9am to 10pm respectively. Festival admission and parking are free.
