(RALEIGH) -- Health insurance companies are preparing for the 2014 deadline when the Affordable Health Care Act - often called Obama Care - goes into full effect. Brad Wilson, President and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, says they'll spend the next year creating new insurance plans and getting ready for the deadline.

"There will be, continuing to be, expanded coverages that will come in to place, and primarily getting ready for January 1 of '14."

Wilson says customers won't notice changes to their coverage in 2012 or 2013.
