McCrory Supports Tobacco Farmers

(RALEIGH) -- Governor Pat McCrory is still "getting to know" some of the key groups in the state -- and he's not leaving out the tobacco industry.

He spoke to the state's growers in Raleigh Friday and says he will promote agriculture.

 

"I believe in  business I believe in entrepreneurship and I also believe in efficient government. It is time for us to work together, communicate with each other and understand what our goals and needs are and therefore we'll have victory and we will all allow the next generation of farmers, including tobacco farmers, to have the same quality of life so many of us have enjoyed during the past fifty years here in North Carolina."

He says agriculture is a "life long profession" that will help get North Carolina out of the "recession:"
