A health scare at a Triangle university has sent dozens of students and teachers to the health department for testing.

A student at Shaw University in Raleigh has tested positive for tuberculosis, and now dozens of people who've been in contact with him are getting tested, too. Sue Lynn Ledford, the Wake County Health Director, told WTVD that TB doesn't spread very easily, so only those who spent a lot of time with the student are at risk,

"you wouldn't be tested if you walked down the street, but you would if you had a class with him"

Ledford says it will be early next week before they know if anyone else is sick.
