RALEIGH -- Raleigh is hosting students from around the Tar Heel state this weekend for the 31st-Annual Students Against Destructive Decisions Conference.

SADD has grown to tackle subjects beyond drunk driving, according to State Coordinator Harriett Southerland.

"Highway safety, not texting, and not drinking and driving. Actually, not just not drinking and driving, but not drinking under the age of 21."

High schools that want to add a SADD chapter at their school should contact Southerland through the Youth Advocacy and Involvement Office in the NC Department of Administration.
