RALEIGH -- Gov. Pat McCrory wants to let North Carolina citizens know what his goals are for 2014 and beyond. In a pseudo state of the state news conference on Tuesday, with his Cabinet and top staff at the Executive Mansion in Raleigh, McCrory highlighted his goals and initiatives for the upcoming year.
McCrory said, "The number one priority continues to be our economy, and our goal is in several areas that we did not accomplish during our first year. The one is, powering the economy through energy expiration."
The Governor also listed teacher pay, Medicaid reform, and transportation among his top priorities in 2014 and beyond.
