RALEIGH -- The Children’s Home Society of North Carolina recently announced the appointment of it's new President & CEO Brian Maness. Since it was founded in 1902, CHS has placed more than 15,000 children into loving, adoptive homes.

Maness notes there are still thousands more waiting, "Right now there are about 8,700 children in foster care in North Carolina. Many of those children are waiting for permanent homes."
