Wilmington -- North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory and emergency officials held a press conference, Thursday, on Hurricane Arthur. McCrory says as Hurricane Arthur nears, the state's top priority is clear.

McCrory said, "We want you to be prepared with safety packages; the amount of water, lighting, flashlights, and other things that you should have in a repair emergency kit."

Rip currents will continue to be problem throughout the weekend.
