RALEIGH -- Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest along with state and local lawmakers made stops in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Charlotte areas this week to launch the “I Support Teachers” specialty license plates which benefit the North Carolina Education Endowment which rewards excellent teachers in our state.
Forrest says when it comes
"We have always had this issue of being reactionary to teachers' salaries and teach compensation. We kind of have to wait until the budget numbers come in at the end of the year."
The special fund was created in 2014. By law, 500 applications and payments must be collected before the “I Support Teachers” specialty plates may be printed
