DURHAM -- IBM has now opened 72,000-square-foot disaster data recovery center, the company’s largest facility of its type in the country, at their Research Triangle Park campus. Bob Geolas, the president of the RTP foundation, says even though job numbers are hard to come by, this is a positive step.
Geolas said, "It speaks to great validation of our region and of IBM's historic relationship to RTP."
IBM was one of the first companies to located at RTP and has operations that include some 4 million square feet.
