RALEIGH -- You have the chance to be the lucky winner of some midway prizes this year at the North Carolina State Fair. Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison says his department has checked to make sure the games on the midway at the fair in Raleigh are on the "up and up."

He says his own grandson gave it a try.

"They actually played the games and they actually won. I'm not going to tell you how much money you are going to spend, that's up to you, but the games are win-able."

He says they are games of skill and not games of chance.
