RALEIGH -- North Carolina receives high marks for STEM (Science,Technology, Engineering and Math) professionals, according to Wallet Hub.

The company's spokeswoman, Jill Gonzalez, says Raleigh ranked third on the list, but two other North Carolina cities made the cut as well.

"Charlotte came in at 19th, so still made the top 20, and Winston was 30th. So out of 100 cities, North Carolina does rank pretty highly in the STEM category."

Winston-Salem had the highest housing affordability in the country for STEM professionals.
