(Greensboro) - A settlement agreement over one of the worst accidents in the history of the North Carolina State Fair has been delayed by a federal judge in Greensboro. Judge Catherine Eagle said that she didn't have a problem with the settlement amount, but did want more information on how some of the funds would be utilized. Michael Jones, a legal spokesman for the Gorham family, who were among the most seriously injured by the Vortex ride malfunction, said that the family is managing as best as they can. The family's father, Anthony Gorham, continues to deal with his injuries.
