(Durham, NC) Former State Supreme Court Justice Bob Orr filed a 100 page class action lawsuit at the Durham County Courthouse against UNC and the NCAA alleging that the NCAA has been negligent in its promise to young athletes that they'll get an education, and that UNC is the face of that negligence.

Two former UNC athletes are named -- starting football player Devon Ramsay and women's basketball player Rashanda McCants, Rashad McCants' sister. Orr said the organization has a responsibility to make sure schools are following through on that promise.
