NC State Establishes Scholarship for Chapel Hill Shooting Victims |

RALEIGH -- N.C. State University is establishing a scholarship in the name of three family members who attended the university and were shot to death in Chapel Hill last week.
Chancellor Randy Woodson announced the "Our Three Winners" in honor of Deah Barakat, Yusor Abu-Salha, and Razan Abu-Salha.
"To honor three individuals who were bright lives in the community and in this world. Who brought so much to this world in a short period of time, who had so much potential to do so much more."
Barakat and Yusor Abu-Salha were married. Razan Abu-Salha was her sister.NCSU says it created the endowment to fund the scholarship with advice from family members. It will provide annual support to students in NCSU's Poole College of Management, College of Sciences and College of Design. Craig Stephen Hicks has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder.
