(RALEIGH) -- Raleigh police are searching for three suspects who badly injured the former manager of the now closed Tir Na Nog restaurant earlier this week. Annie Nice told ABC11 she was getting out of her car in the parking lot behind her apartment building in downtown Raleigh Tuesday night when she was jumped by three young men.
"It was just like, bang! from behind, like a football tackle. I assume they hit me on the head because there's such a huge lump on the back of my head," Nice said.
The thieves got away with Nice's briefcase, wallet, smartphone, and green card. A GoFundMe page has been set up for Nice, a leader in Raleigh's Irish community. She's wearing a neck brace and is facing possible surgery for ligament damage. Over $10,000 has been raised so far.
