140 jobs coming to Davie County |

(RALEIGH) -- A plastics manufacturer plans to expand is presence in North Carolina. Carolina Precision Plastics LLC, plans a new facility in Davie County that will create 140 jobs with an investment of $5.3 million over the next three years in Mocksville. The company is eligible for a $250,000 state grant.
CPP already employs 280 people at facilities in Greensboro and Asheboro. “We are excited to increase our presence in North Carolina,” stated CPP Global President and CEO Brian Tauber. “Our objective is to create a cutting-edge, highly efficient operation, and the support of North Carolina has been critical to our efforts.”
“Our history of investing in education and workforce training have helped create a business climate that enables companies like Carolina Precision Plastics to expand and thrive,” said Gov. Bev Perdue. “We must continue to build an educated, skilled workforce in order for North Carolina to compete in this global economy.”
