(RAEFORD) -- Authorities in Hoke County are investigating the death of an older man. Sixty year old Roy Murchison's body was found Friday morning in his home in the Pilgrim Mobile Home Park.

Murchison's body was found by a relative. Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin says he and other authorities suspect foul play in his death.

Murchison's family says they believe robbery may have been a motive, because Murchison received a disability check on the first of the month and his house was ransacked.

Investigators aren't saying much about the crime, but ABC 11 learned that the victim was found on the floor between the kitchen and the living room wearing only a bathrobe - part of which was pulled over his head.
