(GREENSBORO) -- A group of young immigrants called NC Dream Team staged a rally in Greensboro Saturday that aimed to raise attention to the plight of undocumented workers.
The event was meant to call attention to the 325,000 undocumented residents living in North Carolina.
Organizer Jose Rico has lived in America since he was 13. He's now a 21-year-old student who pays out of state tuition to attend Wake Tech, where he hopes to become an engineer. He says legislation posed in many states prohibit undocumented workers from getting an education.
The rally was held at 4pm in front of Greensboro's City Hall.
