(WASHINGTON, D.C.) -- Allied forces have reacted in Libya with bombing runs designed to loosen Moammar Gadhafi's hold on the country. North Carolina Congressman David Price said it seems clear that people in the African nation want a change.
"A desire for freedom and for an end to dictatorship has spread to Libya and there's no question that this ruler, unlike those in Tunisia and Egypt, is just uninhibited in unleashing this violence against his own people," said Price.
While U.S. forces have significantly figured in the attacks in Libya this week, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the U.S. expects to relinquish control of the mission "in a matter of days."
