(RALEIGH) -- Two vetoes from the Governor's desk were overturned on Tuesday.  Those and a few others, including the $19.7 billion budget, have marked setbacks in her battles with the GOP-led General Assembly.  Gov. Bev Perdue said on Wednesday that she cannot allow herself to take it personally.

"I don't take any of this personally.  If I did I wouldn't speak to anybody in the state, because everybody has opinions, so people may hate me and hate what I do.  I don't take personally.  I feel like it's not about me. It's about my profession.  It's about the job I'm doing," said Perdue.

A small victory came when there weren't enough votes to override her veto of a voter ID bill, but a parliamentary move on the House floor allows that bill to be reconsidered for override at a later date.
