(RALEIGH) -- The Lego Kids Fest is set for this weekend at the Raleigh Convention Center, featuring the most brilliantly designed Lego models ever created. Aaron Wanter, the Vice President for Lego Kids Fest, says the event will feature plenty of expertly created models.

"We've got 40 life-size models, we've got group builds, creations the size of a basketball court, we've got our master model builders coming into town, you can interact one-on-one with these expert Lego builders," Wanter said.

Wanter added that over 40,000 Lego enthusiasts live within three hours of Raleigh. For those who aren't experienced with Legos, other activities will be available such as Lego-themed video games and hands-on beginner classes.
