(RALEIGH) -- Who in North Carolina will see cash benefits from the new Affordable Care Act? The health consumer group Families USA has released a report called "The Bottom Line," which details families from various income brackets after full implementation of the reform law.
Executive Director Ron Pollack said it will help those who were uninsured before reform. "For those people with incomes below 400 percent of the federal poverty level, they will receive tax credit subsidies that will substantially reduce their out-of-pocket premium costs when they purchase health coverage," said Pollack.
The plan will also enable people to get healthcare coverage in a new marketplace where they can shop for the most cost effective healthcare plan.
