(RALEIGH) -- The North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh is the first destination for "Rembrandt in America" - an exhibition of the largest collection of Rembrandt paintings ever presented in the United States. Exhibit curator Dennis Weller is excited about the number of paintings in the exhibit.
"We have 50 paintings in the exhibition. Of the 50, and not all paintings go to all three venues, but we have 46 painting of the 50 that are in the show here as well as a painting from the Morehead Planetarium," said Weller.
The collection opened to the public on Sunday and will be in the museum until January 29th. The attraction then moves on to the Cleveland Museum of Art and then the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
