(RALEIGH) -- The Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Safety is taking its training on the road teaching state and community leaders how to guard against cyber threats. Bob Brinson, spokesman for the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, said battling cyber crime is not just about what one single agency can do.
"It involves citizens. It involves local governments. It involves the federal government and so that coordination of those events and being able to pass information back and forth, let's practice setting up those traffic routes," said Brinson.
The most recent seminar brought officials in Raleigh and Charlotte together through video-conferencing to conduct preventative exercises.
