(GREENVILLE) -- Investigators in Pitt County have arrested three people in a fatal triple shooting over the weekend in Farmville. Twenty-nine year-old Antwan Andre Anthony, 19-year-old Xavier Montel Shanble and a juvenile have been charged after a shooting at a convenience store Sunday night.
The three face multiple charges, including three counts each of murder, first-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. Pitt County Sheriff Neil Elks said members of the community came forward with tips through CrimeStoppers and officers and investigators worked around the clock to identify the suspects. Warrants for their arrests were issued Wednesday morning.
"A lot of the tips we followed were dead ends, but we followed every tip until we got the right tip," said Sheriff Elks.
Two of the suspects were arrested at their homes and a third turned himself in. Elks said the investigation is not over and still urged any members of the community who might have more information to come forward.
