(RALEIGH) -- State House Speaker Thom Tillis said the massive changes that come with the health care reform could hurt economic growth. Tillis' concern surrounds what he alluded to as the complexity of the plan.

"If I would wave a wand I would respectfully asked President Obama to rethink national health care and go away from this complex, all at once framework," said Tillis.

He added that he believes there remains a great deal of uncertainty on the impact when much of the plan goes into effect in 2014.
