Senate leaders rolled out their version of voter ID legislation this week, with even more restrictions on the types of identification that could be used at the polls.
Critics say the reforms would suppress the votes of minorities and low-income voters. Reverend William Barber with the NAACP says that will be the focus of the next Moral Mondays protest.
"What they should be honest enough to admit is that they have not a problem with voter fraud but their problem is voter fear. Fear of all the people voting."
About 800 people have been arrested during the weekly protests since late April, including 101 this week.
