RALEIGH -- Severe weather devastated Eastern North Carolina over the last several weeks, and that means the Red Cross is there to assist those families in need. Leigh Brock is with the Red Cross of North Carolina, and she says they are working with families to guide them through the confusion following the storms.

Brock said, "From here, what we're going to do is start trying to figure out recovery plans. We want to work with each and every person, or each and every family at least, to try to figure out where to go next. Because when something like that happens, you just don't know. You don't know what's available. You don't know where to turn. You don't know what to do."
