CHARLOTTE -- Nancy Writebol is an aid worker with Charlotte based SIM USA, who was recently released from Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after contracting Ebola in Liberia. On Wednesday, she met with the media for the first time since she was released from isolation.
Writebol said, "I do remember, as I was put on that airplane, I don't even know if I'm going to make it to the US. I don't even know if I'm going to see my dear husband again."
Writebol was treated along with Dr Kent Brantly, of Boone-based Samartian's Purse, in Atlanta.
