RALEIGH - State officials are seeking public input on proposed changes to state stormwater management rules.
The proposed changes are part of the ongoing review of all state environmental regulations as mandated by legislation passed by the General Assembly in 2013.
Written comments may be submitted until 5 p.m. April 18. Written comments should be sent to: Annette Lucas, Stormwater Permitting, 1612 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, N.C. 27699-1612.

As part of the public comment period, state officials will host three public hearings at locations across the state:
- March 7 – New Bern-Craven County Public Library, 400 Johnston St., New Bern
- March 21 – Charles Mack Citizens Center, 215 N. Main St., Mooresville
- March 23 – Ground Floor Hearing Room, Archdale Building, 512 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh
The hearings will begin at 6 p.m. Registration for speakers begins at 5:30 p.m. Audio of the hearings will be recorded.
