(WASHINGTON, D.C.) -- President Barack Obama continues his tour promoting his jobs plans in North Carolina on Wednesday. Mr. Obama is scheduled to take a private tour of a small business in Wake County before delivering a speech at Reynolds Coliseum on the North Carolina State University campus.

The administration says WestStar Precision in Apex is a good example of a small business that will benefit from the bipartisan proposals in the American Jobs Act that the President unveiled in an address to a Joint Session of Congress last week and sent to Congress on Monday. The President's visit to WestStar is not open to the public.

His speech on the NC State University campus is open to the public, but limited free tickets are required.  In the speech, the President is expected to emphasize the need for Congress to pass the American Jobs Act right away.

NC State students lined up Monday night and camped out through the overnight for a ticket to see President Obama. The student tickets began being distributed at 8:00 Tuesday morning.
