(RALEIGH) -- The Gobbles to Go program will be up and running around Raleigh this Thanksgiving. Spokesperson Leslie Millett says the Raleigh Rescue Mission has reached out to their partners in the community to make sure that everyone who needs a meal gets one.
"Over the past week, we've been taking meal requests from the community, we work a lot with Meals on Wheels, we work with resources for seniors, and other folks that we know in the community to get meal requests," she said. "We are up to about 700 meal requests."
This is the eighth year of the Gobbles to Go program, which receives help from 95 volunteers to prepare, package and deliver the turkey dinners.
