(NEW YORK) -- Rielle Hunter, the mistress of former presidential candidate John Edwards is making the rounds with the media to promote her new tell-all book, "What Really Happened". Hunter revealed on ABC's Good Morning America Tuesday that she and Edwards are no longer a couple, after a very recent split.
"Many things in the relationship were a mistake, but I don't regret loving him," said Hunter.
Host George Stephanopoulos asked her if she still loved Edwards. She said she did. He asked her if Edwards still loves her.
"You'd have to ask him that, but I think he does. I mean, I feel that he does."
Hunter and Edwards' affair led to him being charged for six federal campaign finance violations. He was accused of using money from wealthy donors to hide Hunter and their daughter from his wife and the public. Edwards was acquitted on one charge and a mistrial was declared on five others.
