RALEIGH -- HIV and AIDS are problem in the US, but especially in the Black community.
Reverend Keron Sadler NACCP National Health Program Manager explains.
"African Americans represent 13 - 14% of the US population, but we represent 44% of new infections. That's almost half of new HIV infections."
Sadler says Black men represent 11 percent of the U-S population but 42 percent of male HIV infections, and Black women represent 12% of the US population but 66% of female infections.
